RIAS specialises in providing high quality, low cost insurance for over 50s.
WorksUnit have worked closely with the RIAS management team to re-brand the site to appeal to this hard-to-reach demographic, by developing a clean, uncluttered design and highly-usable transactional online functionality.

During the two year development of the RIAS site, WorksUnit have implemented the following:
- Home insurance online quotation and buy system
- Car insurance online quotation system
- Full CMS with moderation and affinity control
- Full CRM system for inbound and outbound call centre
The RIAS site is now accessible to AA level of the W3C guidelines and has achieved dramatically higher ranking within search engines such as Google.
Overview
RIAS required a highly accessible site geared at their user base of "silver surfers" looking to get insurance quotes online. WorksUnit worked with RIAS to define the usability targets along with an information architecture that provides users with information and quotes quickly and efficiently. T he quote engine is fully integrated with their back end systems including SSP to allow fast quoting, and customer follow up calls via the telemarketing teams.
