We recently helped Promega launch a brand awareness campaign to reinforce the connection between the Promega brand and their FuGENE® 6 product. They had already created some digital assets to promote the brand in the form of an animation hosted on their YouTube channel, and an animated screensaver. Promega asked WorksUnit to create an online environment to provide access to these assets and help publise the campaign.
WorksUnit developed a microsite which included a registration form which would capture visitors’ details before allowing them to download the FuGENE® 6 screensaver file. Additional promotional materials were also developed included animated banners, offline material including postcards and email templates to help drive traffic to the site.
The branding and imagery provided for this project are very striking and allowed us to have some fun with the artwork while maintaining the theme used for the existing assets. A mobile version of the microsite was also developed and allows visitors’ to download a wallpaper version of the screensaver which can be saved to their mobile phones. The mobile version of the site is automatically served up and while it still reflects the fun artwork, contains a much simpler layout that makes completing the registration form on your mobile much easier.
We hope this campaign proves successful for Promega by effectively promoting their product brand and increasing their registered users. We look forward reviewing the results.
