WorksUnit smash target for Hotel du Vin – 2000 & Wine email campaign.

The Hotel du Vin 2000 & Wine offer is a printable voucher to receive a two course meal, a bottle of wine and coffee all for £29 for two people.

Flyers promoting this offer were placed in all 14 Hotel du Vin hotels and bistros, directing customers to a unique URL landing page promoting the offer. Visitors register their details on a short from and are automatically sent an email containing the voucher. On the same form was the option to forward the offer to their friends (up to 5 people).These names were then tracked to see how many acted and registered for the voucher. All new names added to the database counted towards the 8,000 target figure.

The promotion was also seeded on the UK’s largest and most popular voucher websites and has seen positive feedback on sites such as facebook.com, hotukdeals.co.uk and rpoints.com

The campaign has received over 62,095 views to the landing page and we have obtained 13,706 new names to the database at the mid-way point, smashing the required campaign target of 8,000.

All Bistros have been fully booked since the launch and the offer has been extended by the group CEO until the end of March.

Another win Carnival UK Seat Booker System

WorksUnit have successfully won another high profile project with Carnival UK another longstanding client of WorksUnit, to specify, design, usability and implement an application that will allow passengers to reserve their seats online.

The delivered solution will not only add a new revenue stream to Carnival UK but allow passengers to have more control and enhance their overall holiday experience.

The ‘Seat Booker’ site will allow passengers to select, reserve, move and pay for their seats online. Additional options will launch ‘Seat Booker’ from the cruise personalisation area of the Carnival UK website (which shows cruise details and allows activities such as booking shore excursions), presenting the passenger with a summary of their flights. The passenger is then able to view their charter flight information, make their reservation activity and receive confirmations and other notifications by email.
